XT60 connector (female)

XT60 (3.5mm) female gold plated connector.

The XT60 type connectors are made of gold-plated brass. The gold coating increases conductivity and corrosion resistance, but also reduces the erosion caused by frequent plugging and pulling apart of plugs and sockets, which benefits the service life.
At just 0.55 mOhm, the electrical resistance of the plug connection is very low and enables a short-term current carrying capacity of up to 60 A. In order to achieve this performance potential, the use of high-quality silicone cables with copper strands of 12 AWG or 4 mm² wire diameter is recommended.
The housing of the XT60 plug are made of impact-resistant nylon, which remains temperature-resistant during soldering and does not deform immediately.
