More info

The H2, the second generation of the Flywing H-series flight control system, integrates a separate IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit) that supports expansion with dual external GNSS modules.

Let's start with a few background facts:
GNSS are navigation and positioning systems capable of combining multiple satellite systems with global coverage (the European Galileo, the American GPS, and the Russian GLONASS) to provide unrivaled positioning accuracy.
The IMU is an electronic device that measures and reports the helicopter's specific force, angular velocity, and the surrounding magnetic field, using a combination of accelerometers, gyroscopes, and magnetometers.
On the H2, the IMU uses MEMS technology (Micro Electro-Mechanical Systems). This reduces manufacturing costs and power requirements while ensuring very high performance in a compact unit.

To provide a better stabilization experience and wide compatibility, the H2 adopts the next generation of control algorithms and IMUs.
The H2 supports multiple configurations: serial: Futaba S-Bus / PPM / i-BUS / WBUS / SUMD, and Spektrum DSM2 / DSMX with the use of an adapter) and direct output (PWM), thus meeting everyone's needs.
The H2 flight controller supports the use of an external BEC (6 to 13 Volts) or a 2S lithium battery on the receiver port to power the entire system (including the servos) when using an ESC without a BEC function.
The H2 supports many RC helicopter swashplate configurations: H3, HR3, 4-servo, 6-servo (tandem)...

Featuring:

- New generation high performance sensors:
For enhanced data accuracy and anti-interference capabilities, making compass calibration easier. Paired with built-in vibration damping design, it effectively filters out high frequency vibrations, ensuring consistent sensor data accuracy.

- Dual redondant GPS design:
The primary GPS module features the high performance M9N Ublox flagship chip, paired with an industrial-grade CAN protocol connector for stable anti interference performance. The sescondary GPS moduleuses the low-power M10 Ublox chip. Dual chip support delivers more stable and faster positionning.

- automatic rescue:
Just set a height in the H2 software. When flying in intelligent stunt mode, if the helicopter falls below the set height, it will automatically switch to GPS mode and attempt to stabilize the helicopter (inverted or upright hover depends on the current altitude). This value should be set according to the helicopter's power and mechanical conditions to avoid rescue failure due to insufficient height.

- Turn coordinator:
When enabled, moving the directionnal stick (rudder) while the helicopter is moving forward will automatically tilt the heli during turns, reducing the turning radius and achieving an elegant banked turn posture. In simple terms, when using the yaw stick during forward flight, the H2 flight controller will automatically compensate aileron (roll) based on stick proportion and flight speed.

- Slow take off and landing:
When enabled, unlock the helicopter and wait for the speed up to complete. Pushing the throttle stick will initiate a slow automatic takeoff procedure, ascending to approximatively 1 meter before handing control to the remote (pilot). This achieve a more realistic takeoff effect for beginners. During landing, when the helicopter is about 1 meter above the ground, the H2 flight controller automaticaly controls the descent rate. www.helistore.fr. These functions can be individually enabled or disabled in the software.

- 3 flight styles One-click switching:
The H2 flight controller features three built-in flight modes: Soft, Standarrd, and Sport. Each mode offers different sensitivity and rotation speeds, catering to both beginners and experienced pilots.

- Spin optimization algorithm and RPM filter:
The H2 introduces a new spin optimization algorithm, ensuring the helicopter spins along his central axis. Paired with an RPM filter, the flight controller avoids blade resonance as much as possible, providing more precise attitude sensing and further enhancing handling.

- ESC voltage detection upgraded to 12S max:
The H2's voltage detection port is upgraded to support up to 12S (51V max), addressing the issue of low battery return failure in 700-class and larger helicopters when using the H1 flight controller.
